"For nothing will be impossible with God." Luke 1:37
Luke 1:37 states that nothing is impossible with God. Do you truly believe that? Let’s break it down. The word impossible is defined as “not possible; unable to be, exist, happen, etc.” The word nothing is defined as: “not possible; unable to be, exist, happen, etc.”
So – if nothing is impossible – that means that what God CAN’T do doesn’t exist.
Did you hear me…. What God CAN’T do doesn’t exist!!! So, that means what you are asking and believing God for… he WILL provide for you. That doesn’t mean… yea, but can he do that? YES… what he CAN’T do is literally impossible!!! Let’s back this up with a few additional Bible verses…
“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
“And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.” Matthew 17:20
“Looking at them, Jesus said, "With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God." Mark 10:27
“And Jesus said to him, " 'If You can?' All things are possible to him who believes." Mark 9:23
Believe those verses!! The impossible is POSSIBLE!
I do want to point out something though… do you notice in the verses the “impossible” is only achievable through God! Not our own power. God’s spirit lives inside ALL of us and is awakened when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior (click here if you would like to accept Jesus into your heart). I think a lot of us try to do the “impossible” with our own power. Then when things don’t go our way, we blame and curse God because the “impossible” didn’t happen. We need to use the strength of God inside of us!
So, how do we do that? It’s simple! Become born again! Once you do that… let’s go back to what Jesus said in John 14: 12- 14. “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”
So, ask for the impossible in Jesus’ name. Believe with your heart it will come (in God’s timing) and then start taking the faith steps you need to take. Faith steps are essential because it shows you’re believing God for the impossible (see Matthew 17:20 & James 2: 14-26). For example, if you’re asking God for a new job that you’re not qualified for on paper (impossible)… you can’t just ask him and not apply to the position. You will still need to send in a resume/apply to the position and then expect and believe you’ll get an interview and then the job.
I believe that as a life coach, I’m one of those faith steps. I help people discover their life purpose and destiny. By working with me, you’re taking the step to help yourself heal and grow in your identity. God works through me to help others understand and activate their potential.
Remember, God loves you! He wants to help you. He wants you to prosper, be happy, find love, and live your purpose.
Let me know what “impossible” things you are believing God for. Let’s pray for each other.
